a communication amplifier for plants
The search for the special something that causes us to understand the ones we interact with as an individual being to whom we seek to establish an emotional and social relationship formed an experimental machine. The communication amplifier aims to examine ways of communication and interaction between living beings and machines. While we as humans making use of verbal and physical expressions to interact and communicate among ourselves and animals or machines that imitate these abilities there is no coherent form for interacting with plants. Although they are also living beings that react to their environment by expressive powers. To examine the question whether a known form of interaction intends us to imply something like sense and sensibility in a plant, like it sometimes does in a machine, the communication amplifier measures reactions of a Mimosa Pudica to their environment and translates them into a higher radius and faster pace to make them easier perceivable for us as humans.
